Lake Tahoe Wedding
It was a perfect day for a beautiful beach wedding. The wildfire smoke cleared out for the weekend, the weather trended cool, but the sparks for this wedding were there all along. I loved this wedding for many reasons. First, it was my brother-in-law’s wedding, and I have always considered him to be more like the brother I never had. My wife and I have watched as Ryan & Crystal’s love for each other has blossomed over time and it’s beautiful to see how much they have grown together. I was so excited when they asked me to shoot their wedding day for them and it made me reflect on the time Ryan asked me to shoot a surprise engagement photo session for them at the Bywater Lavender Farm in Lincoln. I had planned to do a couple’s photoshoot of them for my portfolio, but unbeknownst to Crystal, Ryan thought this would be the perfect opportunity to propose to her. She had no idea!
