I am a portrait photographer based in the beautiful Sacramento Valley and serving Northern California and beyond. As a married guy with three young kids, I know firsthand how precious family moments are—and how tricky it can be to get little ones to smile for the camera! Luckily, I’ve got a few tricks up my sleeve (and a decent dad joke collection) to keep kids giggling and families at ease. I’m all about making our time together fun, relaxed, and filled with genuine laughter.

Mike is very patient, which is helpful if you’re a little nervous or don’t pose for pictures very often, and he takes the time to line up great shots. He is professional, friendly, and positive. You spend a good chunk of time with your photographer on your big day, so it’s important to choose one that is a joy to be around, like Mike. Our friends and family said great things about him, too.
In terms of his business, he is very organized and consistent. He is timely with communication and pays close attention to his clients’ wishes. Before I even hired him, I mentioned I was worried about over-exposure with my pale skin, and when we took photos months later he remembered my concern and was careful to make sure I was comfortable with the lighting throughout. This is someone who pursues his craft with his client’s satisfaction as his top priority.

Portrait collections begin at $650 and include a personalized session experience, professional editing, and access to heirloom-quality prints and artwork. Most clients invest between $1100 and $1800, depending on how they choose to enjoy their images. My goal is to create photographs you’ll love not just today, but years from now—images that deserve a place on your walls, not just on a screen.
