Richards Ranch in Modesto, California is a stunning wooden ranch-style venue, and it set the perfect scene for [Couple’s Names]’ engagement session. From the warm textures of the barn to the charming train caboose and the lush vineyard at the end, every corner offered a new moment to capture.
These two met while working together at a restaurant, and their connection is effortless. Watching him lift her near the train caboose, moving her to and fro with ease, brought out so much laughter and natural joy—moments like that make photographing love such a pleasure.
We began near the wooden barn, where the rustic architecture and natural light created a cozy, timeless atmosphere. Moving to the train caboose, their playful energy and genuine smiles made for some of my favorite shots. We finished in the vineyard, the rows of grapevines adding a soft, romantic touch that contrasted beautifully with the barn and caboose.
Every moment of this session reflected who they are as a couple: fun, affectionate, and completely in sync. I’m so excited to capture their wedding soon and continue documenting their story. For now, here are some highlights from their engagement session at Richards Ranch.
