Sean and April’s engagement session at McKinley Park Rose Garden in Sacramento, CA, was as sweet and heartfelt as their love story. Once just friends, they eventually fell in love—and their connection shines through in every photo. As huge fans of How I Met Your Mother, they brought along a yellow umbrella and tie as a fun nod to the show, adding a playful and meaningful touch to their session.
Surrounded by the vibrant blooms of the rose garden, Sean and April shared plenty of laughs, tender moments, and genuine smiles. I loved capturing their natural chemistry and the easy comfort they share together. One of my favorite shots from the day was taken with red roses in the foreground, perfectly framing the couple as they embraced—a beautiful blend of color, romance, and storytelling.
