FAQ

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS YOU MAY FIND HELPFUL

Choosing your wedding photographer is one of the biggest decisions to make when you get married. Its probably the second or third choice you make after securing your venue or wedding planner. Often times your wedding photographer can act as a de facto wedding planner if they have the experience of many weddings under their belt. Wedding photographers spend the most time with you throughout your big day and see first hand many of the BTS that take place on the wedding day. With that being said you want a photographer who is kind, easy to talk to, has a sense of urgency as well to keep things moving, and most of all–knows how to make you look and feel your best so that you will absolutely love your photos for years to come! Learn more about me and see if we are a good fit!

Question

"how much do you charge?"

01

Weddings are a big investment and wedding photography is no different. You can always find a cheaper photographer but as you may already know, you get what you pay for. You want to make sure that you hire a photographer who will make you look and feel your best for your pictures, as well as someone who will not miss the once in a lifetime moments on your big day! Wedding packages start at around $1800 and most of my clients invest about $2600 for their wedding day.

Question

"when do we get to see our pictures?"

02

I shoot roughly 80-100 pictures per hour and so it does take time to go through each individual picture to ensure that they are picture perfect without any imperfections and then edit them each for exposure, color grading, and composition, etc. That being said, I do send some sneak peeks to my clients within 5-7 days and deliver the rest of the gallery to the clients within 30-40 business days. This is a very fast turnaround time but that is how I keep my clients happy and satisfied with my services.

Question:

I absolutely love the craft of photography and therefore I invest in the very best camera equipment! Currently I am invested in the latest Canon mirrorless system: I have both the Canon R5 & Canon R6 camera bodies. I also have the latest RF Canon lenses: 24-70 f/2.8, 15-35 f/2.8, 70-200 f/2.8, 100 f/2.8 Macro (for up close photos of rings), and my two favorite lenses–the 50 f/1.2, and the 85 1.2–both of them being dreamy lenses that produce my best work!

what kind of camera gear do you use?

Answer:

Question:

Absolutely! While I do love natural light photography, I believe a photographer should be a well-rounded photographer who has the tools to shoot amazing images in any lighting condition. Therefore I utilize off-camera flash when it is needed–for example in dark or harsh overhead sun conditions. I also love to use flash for creative photographs as well. I also use light modifiers such as reflectors and LED lights when necessary.
